At Healing Wells, we put you at the front of our priorities. We provide one-on-one in-person and telehealth appointments, typically, we offer weekly appointments., aimed at empowering you to reach your treatment goals: interpersonal conflict, assertiveness, and social skills training to meet the demands of today's society.
We provide our service in a safe, caring, and confidential environment — to explore their feelings, beliefs, or behaviors, work through challenging or influential memories, identify aspects of their lives that they would like to change, better understand themselves and others, set personal goals, and work toward desired change. People seek therapy for a wide variety of reasons, from coping with major life challenges or childhood trauma, to dealing with depression or anxiety, to simply desiring personal growth and greater self-knowledge.
Couples Therapy
Partnership counseling helps couples of all types recognize and resolve conflicts and improve their relationships. Through couples therapy, you can make thoughtful decisions about rebuilding and strengthening your relationship or going your separate ways.
The purpose of couples therapy is to restore a better level of functioning in couples who experience relationship distress. The reasons for distress can include poor communication skills, unresolved trauma, domestic violence or a broad spectrum of psychological disorders that include addictions, mood, anxiety, and others.
Family Therapy
Family therapy assists with conflicted relationships with any familial relations. It addresses specific issues such as marital or financial problems, conflict between parents and children, or the impact of substance abuse or a mental illness on the entire family.
The goal of family therapy seeks to reduce distress and conflict by improving the systems of interactions between familial parties. In helping a family work together, family therapists aim to aid family members in improving communication, solving family problems, understanding and handling special family situations, and creating a better functioning home environment. Family therapy addresses issues such as: divorce, financial, adoption, incest, care taking, runaway, pregnancy, emancipation, and others.
